What to expect on your first physio appointment

Before You Arrive:

Your initial appointment will last 60 minutes.
Wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing.
Think about any questions you may have and bring them with you.

DURING YOUR FIRST SESSION:

We will discuss your current issue as well as your history.
I will carry out a thorough assessment of your movement, muscle function and joint integrity.
These findings will be used to evaluate the underlying reasons for your pain or dysfunction.
We will discuss these findings and together form a robust plan to reduce your pain and improve your function.
You will be provided with a bespoke exercise program, which we will adjust as required as you progress.
We will book any follow-up appointments required depending on the plan.

AFTER THE SESSION:

Should you have any questions, you can email or message me to discuss things as they arise and to allow me to offer ongoing support in your recovery and progress.
I provide a number of ways to support you going forward. You can book in a Private Physiotherapy Follow-On Appointment or block book a package to save you money. Please see our pricing below.
